Hopelands Crafts is a small New Zealand-based business creating handmade pieces of colourful garden decor and art designed to bring life and personality to outdoor spaces.
Based in Hawke’s Bay, Hopelands Crafts is the result of over 30 years of passion and experience from Roger and Jill, who have been crafting and selling their work at local markets for decades.
Jill is the artist behind the colour, carefully hand painting each piece and knitting all of the woollen creations, bringing warmth and character to every item. Roger is a skilled woodturner, crafting the wooden forms and creating the foundation for each piece. Together, they combine their skills to create unique, handcrafted artwork that is both functional and decorative.
Their work is inspired by the outdoors and the simple idea that a garden should feel like an extension of your home, full of colour, charm and individuality. Each piece is made with care using durable materials, designed to be enjoyed for years to come.
You’ll often find Roger and Jill at local markets, where they enjoy meeting people, sharing their story and seeing their creations find a place in homes and gardens across New Zealand.
